Group Lessons

Music Inspiration Series

WeMusic takes a modern approach to music education. Group class provides students with an excellent introduction to the instrument and prepares them for more serious private study. Students will begin to develop the skill of playing music with their peers which provides lifelong benefits.

Students will learn the intricacies of playing in a group- listening to each other  and practicing good teamwork. These are rewarding lifelong skills. Each class will have a creative component. Students will experiment with composition and improvisation as well as learning song form.

We believe the best way for students to gain musical proficiency is through performance - based music education. All of our group classes include a virtual performance aspect. These lessons are ideal for aspiring musicians or anyone looking for a creative, exciting musical challenge.

Once a group class is over, students are more than welcome to continue their musical journey in private lessons or explore other group instruction opportunities!

Your Bridge Between Classical and Today's Music

We’ve developed a playful, attention-grabbing, and confidence building music program for students. Our expert piano instructors introduce the basics of notes and rhythm, while fostering a creative and comfortable learning environment designed to help students discover the piano.

WeMusic ensures students have fun while engaging in quality piano instruction and skills development. Our group piano lessons teach skills and confidence on the piano while also developing the tools they need to work in a team.

Young singers and aspiring vocalists learn the fundamentals of thinking like breathing, posture and diction. These basic principles are key to strong vocal performances. WeMusic voice teachers help guide singers through the early stages of vocal progression, assisting with pitch training, developing timber and keeping steady tempo.

Our lessons help with all aspects of vocals, from proper warm-ups and basic voice training to best vocal practices and sustainability. Students use standard musical theatre repertoire and musical exploration to create characters and stories of their own. Students learn warm-ups, beginning technique, and like choreography.

In this course, you will learn how to transfer your classical training to popular music. Beginning by analyzing and surveying the historical differences between popular and classical music, we will explore different practice strategies, evaluate the role of violin as a tool for melody and harmony, and investigate how we can use the medium of video to become our own "one man band."

 Bringing Broadway to Your Bedroom

Instructor: Blake Brauer
Start Date: June 1
Mondays 3:30-4:30pm EST

Students will not only gain a foundational understanding of basic vocal technique and terminology, but also develop skills to hone their focus, build self-awareness, craft breathing techniques to ground their emotions, and empower themselves to better their communication skills via self-expression.  The goal of this course is to give students the environment that will allow them to freely explore their internal landscape and challenge them to think creatively about healthy ways to express themselves.  Ultimately, the students will craft a creative piece of their own, inspired by their own thoughts and feelings, and will be encouraged to share their work with the class.
